Bourbon-Mint Iced Tea
"And for hot, summer days:
The consumption of alcohol in the summer-heat can be extremely dehydrating
and energy depleting, so I tried to keep the alcohol content in this one
somewhat on the low side. We certainly don't want anyone passing out during
any 'lawn parties'. . ." Audrey Saunders, 2002.
Bourbon-Mint Iced Tea
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
1/4 ounce Branca Menta
3/4 ounce Maker's Mark bourbon
5 ounces cold brewed tea
1 lemon wheel, for garnish
1 mint sprig, for garnish
Shake all ingredients except for the tea, and strain into a large glass filled with ice. Top with brewed ice tea.
