Kiwi Drop

Pulp from 1 kiwi, removed from skin with a spoon

1 teaspoon granulated sugar

1 1/2 ounces citrus vodka

3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

In a large mixing glass, using a wooden muddler, muddle together 4 or 5 small ice cubes with the kiwi and the sugar. Fill the mixing glass 2/3 full of ice, add the vodka and the lemon juice, and shake. Strain into a chilled, sugar-rimmed cocktail glass.
